What are Some benefits from WoW(Not bad ones)?

WoW is very addictive and its had not to stop playing. It makes you fat(if your not fat already), ruins your social life in the real world, and can also make you lose your loved ones. So I’m wondering if its worth that. Or even if you can make it your life and get a supported salary of it. Or what you get from WoW that helps you in your life.

I think it’s better for a person to play World of Warcraft in their free time than it is for a person to go join a gang, or get hooked on illegal drugs. If a person is going to become addicted to something, I would rather it be a harmless video game than something that could end up endangering the lives of innocents.

World of Warcraft does not ruin a person’s life, it’s the person for allowing themselves to become that way. It’s a result of them being lazy and not knowing when to say "No, I can’t run that Naxx raid tonight, I’m going to the gym and then taking my girlfriend to the movies, but you guys have fun and maybe I can catch the next one, if I don’t already have plans."

Also, some people are home bound, either due to injuries or illnesses that keep them from being mobile. If they can’t get out into the real world, because it’s too painful, what’s wrong with them escaping the pain and boredom by playing World of Warcraft? I used to be in a guild that was ran by a woman too sick to leave her house.

I’ve been helped by World of Warcraft, as silly as it seems, I’ve been having artist block and not really wanted to draw or paint anything. But when I play WoW interesting quest and other situations come up that make me want to draw the scene. It gives me practice, keeps my artistic skills from becoming rusty.
